A magnificent view of the bay of Gaspé, Forillon National Park and the surrounding mountains.
“This is a traditional style motel, totally kept up to date. Fortunately the rooms in the original were not small and the result is an attractive stay and quite up to any standards of the name brand 3-story hotels one sees by the hundreds on our continent (there are none in Gaspe). Motel Plante is on a hillside in the center of town. Breakfast is not included, but available within easy walking distance.“
“We arrived in town late and night and this motel offered us the best deal in town. Rooms are spacious, clean and warm and there is a convenience store within walking distance. I would definitely recommend the motel and it probably has some great views in the summer.“
“We stayed here on our trip around the Gaspe. Had seen other positive reviews and thought we would give it a try. Booked on line the day before arriving. We were given a suite which meant that we had a bedroom upstairs and a small living area with full kitchen downstairs. You could almost eat off the floors it was so clean. The bathroom looked as though it had been just renovated. No dust even on the baseboard. We would recommend this as a great place to see the surrounding area , especially families who may want to do some cooking in the unit. There are a couple of small restaurants but not many in the immediate area; a Tim Hortons just down the road is a plus.”
“We used Tripadvisor to choose our hotels on our travels to the east coast. We did the coastline of the Gaspe Peninsula and decided to stay overnight in the town of Gaspe. Motel Plante rated well on Tripadvisor, so we booked it. It was a lovely place overlooking the town and the river and a close walk to a couple of restaurants. The room was clean and well equipped and most importantly, the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a good stop.”
